When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds, I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief.

          http://www.hangingrocktower.org/   Hanging Rock Tower, located near Zenith,  Monroe Country, WV, is located on the migratory route of eagles, ospreys, hawks, and falcons along the Allegheny Mountains.  Climbing up a trail to almost 4,000 feet above sea level, it is like being on top of the world.  Often over 600 raptors are documented daily, but we only saw one lone Golden Eagle on our visit this fall.  We plan to make visits to this spectacular place often.
