Our farm is in the process of converting to minimal-till, regenerative organic practices, with a strong emphasis on soil health and efficient production systems for small scale agriculture. We market our flowers and produce at our own farm stand, two off-site farm stands, and the local farmers market.

ASSISTANT FIELD MANAGER
Full Time Seasonal
(May thru November 2023)
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Field Manager will work in conjunction with our Farm Manager and Farm Crew to execute an organic vegetable production plan on two acres of minimal-till farmland. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hardworking, and dedicated, have a passion for working with regenerative organic systems, and possess strong communication and leadership skills. The position runs from early May thru November. 40 hours per week, 7 to 4 daily with flexible days off.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead our farm crew in overseeing all aspects of vegetable production from start to finish, including propagation, soil and bed preparation, planting, irrigation, maintenance and harvesting of vegetables, washing, packing, and delivery. Assist with crop planning for succession, cover cropping, compost management, soil testing and amending, pest and disease management, weekly record keeping and more.
QUALIFICATIONS

2-4 years vegetable production experience preferred
-
1 to 2 years of management experience helpful.

Positive attitude, problem solver, strong work ethic.

Ability to work well with others and lead a small crew

Safely operate tools and farm machinery

Valid US drivers license, reliable transportation
COMPENSATION

FARM CREW
Full and Part Time Seasonal
(May thru September 2023)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Farm Crew members will work in conjunction with our Field Manager to participate in all aspects of vegetable crop production, including planting, weeding, mulching and harvesting. Farm crew may also assist with flower field maintenance, bouquet making, berry picking, and greenhouse and farm stand upkeep. We are seeking hardworking, dedicated team players with a passion for working on the land and growing healthy food. These positions run early May thru September, with flexible start and finish dates. 7 to 4 pm, flexible days off.
